The Ideato North Chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance has affirmed Sir Tony Ejiogu as their choice candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Imo State.
A release signed by the Chairman in Ideato North Local Government Area, Comrade George Nlebedum stated that this was to clear the doubt on whether APGA has a guber candidate for the November 11 election or not.The chairman also congratulated the deputy governorship candidate,Chief Chris Ejike Uche(Dimkpasa) and the DG of Tony Ejiogu Camping Council ,Engr.Paul Aballa(Emetumba) on the visit to their local government areas.
The LGA executives and ward chairmen expressed their gratitude to the National Woman leader, Hon.Barr. Lizzy Nwokeocha for her effort towards ensuring that Ideato North Chapter of APGA is a force to reckon with, adding that they are always confident in her services, as she is a beacon of hope for their great party.
They further appreciated the zonal chairman, Chief Okey Emeh for his relentless contributions to the growth and development of the party, describing him as a tower of strength whose legacies can never be over emphasized.
They however added that as the November election draws nearer, the Ideato North APGA prays for the resounding victory of the party in the State.
