The National President of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, Comrade Thaddeus Emejuru is currently in Rwanda for an all expenses paid leadership summit sponsored by the JPI.
Emejuru, an indigene of Umuobom, in Ideato South Local Government Area, won the slot to represent Orluzurumee Youth Assembly at the annual leadership conference in Kigali, Rwanda from August, 17 to August, 17 to August, 20, 2023.
Emejuru, who won the slot of Ideato South, emerged as a delegate after scaling through all competitive written screening followed by keenly contested oral screening session that befits the standard of JPI as the sole sponsor of the international leadership conference.
Emejuru, who is passionately committed to the ideals of good governance was the Senior Perfect of O.M.S.S Orlu, a former Student Union President of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education. He was also a former Acting National President and Electoral Chairman, National Association of Imo State Students (NAISS) and currently the National President of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly (OYA), just to mention few of the leadership positions he has held.
There is no doubt that, in line with what Chinua Achebe said in one of his books, “A chick that will grow into a mother hen is spotted the first time is hatched”, Emejuru has shown that “he is a gold fish that has no hiding place”.
