The Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released names of the five principal members of the governorship campaign council, ahead of the November, 11, election in the state.
According to a release signed by the Principal Secretary to the PDP Governorship candidate, Dr Arthur Bruno Ekwelem, Hon Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, representing Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituency, is the Director General while Hon Ugonna Ozurugbo, representing Isu,Nwangele,Njaba and Nkwere Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the national Assembly is the Deputy Director General.
Other members of the committee are, Hon Ngozi Ogbu, Deputy Director General, Orlu zone, Hon High Chief Chidi Ibe, Deputy Director General, Owerri zone. Hon Marshall Okaforanyanwu is the Secretary of the Council.
The release dated August, 22, further stated that, “the appointments take immediate effect.
The general masses, the campaign council Electoral Agencies and Party structures at all levels are enjoined to give them full cooperation in the discharge of their duties.
The full list of the campaign council will be released shortly”.
