Aboh Mbaise Township Stadium will be electrifying on Today, 15th August,2023 during the celebration of 2023 edition of the Mbaise rich multi-national cultural festival, Iri-ji Mbaise.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State,top Government functionaries, captain of industries are expected to grace the occasion.
According to the statement signed by the Sole Administrator of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area,Barr. Ogechi Njoku-Ehirim, preparations are on top gear to warmly welcome His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma and his entourage to the new yam festival.
Barr. Njoku-Ehirim urged members of the general public to disregard the rumour that the event is slated to hold at Aboh Mbaise Secondary School reaffirming that the occasion will take place at the newly constructed Stadium.
She praised the Governor for his numerous achievements and love for Mbaise people which metamorphosed to the ongoing reconstruction of Owerri-Umuahia Road that cut across Mbaise.
The Sole Administrator seized the opportunity and disclosed the economic importance of the newly constructed Stadium which she said that it will generate enough revenue for the LGA through rent fees.
