– Urges Govt To Jettison ill-conceived Ideal
A group known as Concerned Citizens of Imo State has condemned in very strong terms, the decision of the Hope Uzodinma-led All Progressive Congress administration in Imo State, to initiate the Imo Social Benefit Number few months to the end of its tenure.
President and Founder of the group, Comrade Sabinus Nwafor, who stated this in a letter he personally signed and made available to the press, berated the state governor for initiating ‘’such a fraudulent programe that is capable of projecting the state in bad light because of the ominous message it portends and projects.
He urged the State Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma to stop being jittery and desperate to perpetuate himself in office despite the abysmal performance of his administration adding that Imo people who have suffered untold hardship, will under no circumstances be fooled or deceived again.
The ex-President of the National Association of Imo State Students, NAISS stated that the youths will rise against any unnecessary manipulation of events and circumstances, before, during and after the Nov, 11 election.
He expressed the need for peaceful, cordial, healthy and transparent electoral process.
