The mass influx of decampees from other political parties into the Labour Party which currently appears to be the beautiful bride, has become phenomenal, as Barr Calistus Ihejiagwa KSJI, erstwhile Deputy Director General of Hon ThankGod Ezeani’s campaign organization has dumped the Peoples Democratic party PDP for Labour Party (LP).
Ihejiagwa, a chieftain of the PDP gave notice of his resignation in a letter dated August, 30 2022 which he addressed to the ward chairman of the PDP in his Umuokwara/Umuezeagu Ward in Ideato North Local Government area of Imo State.
The letter with the caption, “RESIGNATION FROM PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP), reads “The above subject matter refers;”
“This letter is to respectfully inform you of my decision to resign -from being a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“After a careful analysis of the political developments -in our dear country Nigeria. I resolved that the socio-political and economic challenges of our beloved country is so monumental and requires a paradigm shift from the old normal to a new normal and making selfless sacrifices to rescue our country from further collapse.
“Consequently, I have passionately and selflessly decided to join Mr. Peter Obi and other progressives in Labour Party to rescue and take back our dear country, Nigeria.
“The Clarion Call to join hands with Mr. Peter Obi and Labour Party to Rescue Nigeria is so compelling and in the overall national interest, and my children will never forgive me if I did not answer the call now and fully join Obidient Movement to midwife a New Nigeria that will guarantee Peace, Unity, Equity, Justice, Security and Socio-political and Economic Prosperity”.
