Coalition of Orlu Youth groups under the auspices of Orlu Zone Youth Ambassadors has vouched that there will be no need for hassles and troubles looking for a reputable credible and trusted candidate to represent Orlu senatorial district in the National assembly after next years’ general election since they have Rt Hon Barr Amaechi Nwoha a two term legislator and former Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly as the answer to the riddle, as he has the authentic driver’s License to pilot the affairs of Orlu zone at the Senate.
The youth Ambassadors deposed that apart from being a lawyer by profession, Amaechi Nwoha had been a former Special Adviser on Legislative matters to the governor of Imo state, a former chairman of Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC) and presently serving as a National Commissioner representing South East zone at the National Assembly Service Commission.
Speaking to newsmen on Sunday April 24, the convener of Orlu Zone Youth Ambassadors,, Hon. Chukwuemeka Raymond said, the group decided to back Nwoha after they accessed his pedigree and were convinced that he will bring about the much needed quality and purposeful representation by way of economic empowerment, poverty alleviation and infrastructural development of our zone.
The group further urged the Shared Prosperity Governor, His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma and leaders of the All Progressive Congress in the zone and state at large to consider the profile of Rt. Hon. Amaechi Nwoha whom they said has the authentic driver’s Licence to pilot the affairs of Orlu Zone at the Senate.
“Hon. Amaechi Nwoha is the type of person we want at the National Assembly. He is a selfless community leader, mobilizer and bridge builder per excellence. We are sure that he will not fail. We are all witnesses to how he related with the people of Nwangele for 8yrs when he represented them at the Imo House of assembly,” he said.
“We believe that if given the opportunity, he will give many of our youths federal jobs as it manifested now as current commissioner South East at the National Assembly Service Commission where many Orlu zone youths are gainfully employed at the commission. We are aware that there are openings in NNPC, CBN, FIRS and so many federal agencies.
While profiling Hon.Nwoha, the convener noted that Orlu people, especially the youths will have better opportunity to enjoy dividends of democracy if Nwaoha is elected.
He pointed out that Nwoha is a great supporter of the youths and understands the plight of the youths.
Hon. Raymond finally enjoined all the youths in Orlu Zone to join the movement as they beckon on Hon. Amaechi Nwoha to answer the clarion call and declare to represent Imo west senatorial district at the National Assembly.
