· Assures Soludo of maximum support
The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB has assured the new Governor of Anambra state, Prof Charles Soludo of their willingness to embrace peace and also support the programs and policies of his administration.
The media and publicity secretary of IPOB, Comrade Emma Powerful who stated this in a release he issued said, “Our attention has been drawn to a heroic statement by the new Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo during his inauguration. We commend him for reasoning the way he did, and believing he will not allow wicked and selfish politicians who don’t mean well for our people to deceive him. We hope he will keep to his promises and serve the people wholeheartedly and help promote the peace and security of our ancestral land.
We, therefore, assure him of the full cooperation of Biafra youths in his efforts to secure Anambra State. IPOB will give him every support he needs to make Anambra the envy of the black race.”
The release further stated that IPOB will fully support any Governor in the South east who shows genuine understanding of the times and the precarious position of Igbos in Nigerian.
“If any of our governors does not conspire with our oppressors to per-conspire with our oppressors to perpetuate our woes, we will give him/her our full and unalloyed support.”
Anambra State governor professor Charles C.Soludo is an Igbo man, he should not listen to any criminal Politian that will advise him to kill and do away with IPOB members in Anambra State, we have been here before he comes and we will be here when he leaves.
“We therefore, advise Soludo to remain focused on his vision and mission and shun distractions and bad advice from evil politicians. He should not repeat the mistake of his predecessor Willie Obiano, who allowed himself to be used by Fulani people to persecute our people. They killed our people at Nkpor in 2016 during our annual remembrance of our fallen heroes and heroines who paid ultimate prices for our freedom between 1967 and 1970, yet the Governor never asked questions.
“IPOB is a peaceful movement working hard to restore Biafra independence. We will never give up on our agitation unless they give us date for referendum to decide our fate.
“We are ready to work with anyone in Government who wishes to give our people peace. Professor Charles Soludo is a seasoned technocrat, and an accomplished Igbo who should use his wealth of knowledge to develop our land. We are willing to support him as long as he will not turn to be a willing instrument in the hands of our oppressors to persecute our people especially BIAFRA agitators. We wish him success in office.”
