The suspended and embattled former Head of the Intelligence Response Team IRT and suspended former Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who is being investigated by the Interpol and awaiting handover to the FBI of the United States for his alleged involvement in and connection with a popular fraudster, Ramon Abbas popularly called Hushpuppi, has been declared a member of an International Drug Cartel by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
NDLEA also declared Kyari, a deputy commissioner of police and former head of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), wanted for pushing illicit drugs.
Kyari was suspended by the police after United States’ FBI indicted him in the fraud case of a popular fraudster, Ramon Abbas, known as Hushpuppi.
United State authorities said Kyari was a conspirator with Hushpuppi in a $1.1 million deal to defraud a Qatari businessman.
Following the new development and revelation, the suspended highly feared former head of Intelligence Response Team of the IG’s office may be handed over to the American FBI for interrogation and possible trial.
