Expectations are high as Imolites anxiously await names of those sponsoring insecurity in the state, which the state governor, Hope Uzodinma promised to make public.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, had in a statement he issued over the weekend stated that the Governor will use the occasion of the 6th edition of Imo stakeholders forum to name those who the government claims are sponsors and financiers of insecurity in the state.
The Information Commissioner disclosed that government is in possession of crack evidence of the involvement of those responsible for the ravaging menace which has projected the state in bad light.
According to Emelumba, “aside the individuals, the governor will update Imo people on his performance in the last two years.
He said, the stakeholder’s meeting/luncheon will now hold at Government House and not at the Ahiajoku Convention Centre by 12noon on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
“He noted that the meeting which is the sixth in the series is very crucial because of the weighty issues that are up for discussion, and urged all those invited to the ceremony to be punctual before the arrival of the governor.”
