Aroudizuogu Youth United (AYU) under the leadership of their President, Dr Ugboaja Victor Chinedu aka Akataobi has cleared the Ikpa-Ora Aroudizuogu-Okigwe federal highway that has for some time now been a danger zone for the indigenes and commuters who ply the road.
The youths led by President of (AYU) in the their resolve to ensure that their sons and daughters who come home for the yuletide celebration are free from attack by hoodlums who hibernate in the area, have cleared and burnt the bushes that provide shelter for criminals.
This feat according to a source in the area “was achieved in collaboration with the Aroudizuogu Central Security Squad which took it upon themselves to restore peace and harmony in Aroudizuogu, the absence of which had adversely affected the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.”
They called on their sons and daughters at home and in the Diaspora to feel free to come home and celebrate the Christmas/New year with their kith and kin without fear of attack or molestation. They also called on them to support them in any way they can to provide lasting solution to the security challenges that have ravaged the area for so long.
