A non governmental organization (NGO) Treshij Foundation has opened an office in Imo State, at 142 Wetheral Road, Owerri.
The management says the idea is to bring the people closer while appealing to the Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland who at the same time covers Iceland, Her Excellency ,Mrs. Ijeoma Arimanwa Obiezu and Destiny Organization for partnership in complementing the Federal Government’s effort to uplift the living standard of the vulnerable particularly women and youths in the society.
Commissioning the office, Pastor Shiyanbade Adekunle of Winners Chapel Owerri, prayed God to take over the premises, adding that positive activities would flourish there. He further declared that there would be supper natural financial empowerment as the organization lasts.
“Women will come here crying and return home rejoicing; people will come shattered and return pleased; destinies shall be remolded, youths will find their destinies through the NGO.
“As we open and dedicate this place to God today, we declare it open for progress, profit, enlargement, and continued advancement,” he stated.
In her remarks, Hon. Mrs. Prisca Durueke, commended the vision of the organization for among other things, striving to give a greater number of youths and women financial succour.
Mrs Durueke expressed joy that the organization is poised to empower the youths and women through entrepreneurship and rendering assistance to bright graduate and post graduate students to study abroad.
In the same vein, Barr. Emma Nwosu highlighted the various contributions of Destiny Organization to Imo State, especially in the areas of human empowerment and other developmental projects even as he also expressed joy for the organization’s readiness to do more to lift many families out of poverty.
Barr. Nwosu also hinted that Senator Ifeanyi Araraume has facilitated numerous appointments both nationally and Internationally through which himself as well as Mrs. Obiezu and others had benefited.
He promised to convey the highpoints of the event to their principal while assuring of sustainable relationship geared towards women and youths empowerment.
It will be recalled that Destiny Organization is a socio-political platform powered by Senator Ifenayi Araraume.
Similarly, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ireland and Iceland (Hon) Mrs Ijeoma Obiezu who spoke through zoom conference network expressed delight at the great vision of the Foundation and pledged her office’s support where possible.” I envisage a greater number of our youths and women attain financial liberty,” she posited.
