Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, (KOMU) Ogboko in Ideato South L.G.A has advertized for admission of new intakes for the 2021/2022 academic session.
A release signed by the Registrar, Ernest Onuoha invites qualified candidates who desire admission into its NUC approved undergraduate academic programmes for next academic session in the four existing faculties.
Courses in the Faculty of Science include Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Stastics. For the Faculty of Management Sciences, there are, Accounting Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and Management.
Courses available in the Faculty of Arts are English Language and Literary Studies, History and International relations, and Linguistics.
While courses presently available in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences are Estate Management and Architecture.
The release further indicates that prospective candidates seeking admission into the aforementioned undergraduate programmes must have sat for the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), irrespective of whether or not they chose KOMU as their first choice of institution, stating that candidates who did not choose KOMU as their first choice of institution are to effect changes of institution on the JAMB website. It also added that the required minimum UTME score is 140.
“Furthermore, Direct Entry candidates who possess A/Levels, NCE, ND, HND or Degree certificates in relevant subjects/ disciplines are also qualified to apply.
According to the release, the fee for the Post-UTME Screening is two thousand naira (N2,000), payable with the Remita payment gateway.”
