The Action Alliance senatorial flag bearer, Dr Emma Ogueri who defected to the APC recently along with his supporters, said he is joined APC to help facilitate development in his constituency.
After days of speculation, Dr. Emma Ogueri, the Imo North, Action Alliance Senatorial candidate in the just concluded Imo North bye-election has formally defected from the Action Alliance (AA), to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The popular politician, who defected to the APC on Tuesday along with his supporters, said the Imo North Senatorial District has suffered neglect.
Speaking with journalists after joining APC at his pooling unit, Umuduruagwu, Okohia in Osu-Owerri Ward 1, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Dr Ogueri said he had no regrets moving to the APC
“We Ndigbo cannot continue to be relegated from the national bargain which we are co-owners. This is the time to join forces with the federal and state government to move our country forward.”
