The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Hope Uzodinma, Hon Hajiya Fatima Hamza has extolled the mature leadership style of IMO State Governor, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma, especially as regards his politics of national unity which she said has endeared the governor to Nigerians across board.
The Governor’s aide thanked the Uzodinma for all he had done to ensure that the innocent Northerners who were attacked during ESN mayhem at Orlu were adequately shielded from further hurt. She however regretted that a few of their innocent northern traders lost their lives.
In her words, she said, “The northern women are really grateful to His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma for his prompt response that saved the day for not only our people but residents of the area. It would have been very disastrous if the Governor had not waded in decisively. We are in for State owned security. We are civil and therefore condemn any form of criminality.
I encourage peaceful coexistence and ask the Governors of the Northern States to ensure that Igbos in their States are also protected”, the Senior Special Assistant concluded.
