Former Vice Chancellor of Imo State University,IMSU, Owerri, Prof. Chuka Okonkwo’s mother, Nneoma Lucy Okonkwo who died on January 16, 2021 at the age of 95, will be laid to rest in her husband’s compound at Umucheke, Ezioha, Amaifeke, Orlu on Friday March 26, 2021.
According to a release signed by Prof. Chuka Okonkwo for the family, the deceased’s body will leave St. Damian’s hospital, mortuary, Okporo by 7am for her late husband’s place for lying in state at 10am and will leave the family compound for a funeral mass at St Joseph’s Catholic Parish, Ezioha, Amaifeke by 11.am, while interment follows immediately after mass at the main compound.
