Hon. Eric Uwakwe, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Affairs has added another feather to his cap, as he was recently conferred with the chieftaincy title of “Nwanne Di Na Mba” by the traditional rulers of Obi Mbieri clan in Mbaitoli L.G.A while his wife Lolo Joy Uwakwe was decorated with “lolo” title.
The traditional rulers said the chieftaincy title which bestows all rights and privileges of citizenship on Hon. Uwakwe, is in recognition of his leadership qualities and selfless service to God and humanity, especially the youths who he has continued to empower, mobilize and inspire.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Uwakwe thanked the traditional rulers and their people for finding him worthy of the honour, and promised not to relent.
He assured Mbieri people of a program that will empower youths from the various communities in Mbieri, in no distant time.
