The obstinate fly, it is often said, follows the corpse into the grave. This appears to be the fate of Sir Frank Ibezim who was nominated as candidate for the Imo North Bye-election by APC.
Few days ago, a Federal High Court in Owerri after listening to the presentations by counsels to one Lady Uche Uba Onyeiwu, who acts as a proxy for those that want to stop Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume and Adanne Uwajumogu ruled that Frank Ibezim was unqualified to be considered or nominated as candidate.
The federal High Court on the spur of the moment directed INEC to replace the unlawfully nominated Ibezim’s name with that of Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Araraume as duly nominated APC candidate for Imo North bye-election.
Rather than accept the verdict in god fate knowing that he has no grounds to challenge it, Ibezim went back to court to challenge the verdict.
