A social club known as “Citadel of Justice” has congratulated Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu on his landslide victory at the primary election of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Imo North senatorial rerun election, already proposed for Saturday October 31, 2020.
Speaking during their monthly meeting, the leader of the group otherwise known as the Bishop, Hon. Irechukwu Okereke, said that it is indeed the will of God that Chief Okewulonu will emerge as the flag bearer of the PDP and go ahead to win the election come October 31. This he said is highly desirable and proper for the people of the area.
It would recalled that Chief Okewulonu met the group prior to his primary election victory and emergence where prayers were offered on his behalf and assurance of support.
The group finally, unanimously adopted and endorsed Chief Okewulonu as their preferred candidate.
Speaking immediately after the endorsement, Arc. Chidi Okeke the Deputy Leader of the group who hails from Umueke Obowo described Chief Okewulonu as a man who is ready to sacrifice so much for the good, growth and development of Okigwe zone and advised members who hail from the zone to work very hard towards the actualization of this project.
The group also agreed to support in all ramifications to ensure the victory of Chief Okewulonu come 31st of October, including securing all the votes cast for the PDP candidate against any form of manipulation, alteration or fraud.
