A revered opinion moulder and the former special adviser to governor Emeka Ihedioha on New media, AIC Akwarandu has once again taken a swipe at the Goverment of Senator Hope Uzodinma, describing the administration as clueless.Akwarandu accused Uzodinma of building substandard roads for Imo people.He said that a visit to various constructions sites and already completed projects show that the government obviously has no intention of building good roads for Imo state.
Akwarandu who spoke to newsmen in Owerr,yesterday noted that the Uzodinma Administration is more concerned about what they display on Channels Televison and other national Tevelevison stations than what is on ground, saying that the Administration is completely impressionistic.
He urged the Governor to stay in Imo and work.”It is worrisome that the governor leads Imo State from Abuja.This very unfortunate.It is no longer news that he only visits Imo while he spends quality of his time in Abuja”, Akwarandu stated.
He alleged that over #2Billion Naira has been spent by the Uzodinma Administration since the inception of his government on Private jets.He said that the said sum could have solved Pension problems and do other things.
On the recent bill signed by the Governor which gives him the powers to detain a suspect as long as He wishes, Akwarandu noted that the law can be contested, as it is inconsistent with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and holds no water.
While urging Ndi Imo not to loose confidence in their State, Akwarandu advised the people to speak truth to power, stressing that evil men succeed when good men keep mute.
