Declare Emma Okewulonu as best for the job.

The Progressive Minded Youths of Okigwe zone under the auspices of Okigwe Progressive Youths have endorsed Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu (Ikeoha Okigwe) as their preferred candidate for the forthcoming bye-election in Imo North Senatorial District.

The youths who spoke to newsmen shortly after their meeting in Okigwe appealed to the delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, to look the side of Chief Okewulonu as the man for the replacement of Late Benjamin Uwajimogu of blessed memory.

According to them, they have searched through the past records of all the contenders and have found Ikeoha Okigwe fit for the position. They revealed that Ikeoha has been a man that believes in human capital development, saying that he has established many youths in the zone as a result of his philanthropic nature and large heart. They noted that Ikeoha as a man of impeccable character, a man with multiple contacts and capacity would bring developments to the good people of Okigwe,  the Youths especially.

“Our prayer is that IMO PDP should give us Ikeoha and leave the rest for the youths of Okigwe. We assure the PDP that we will never leave any stone unturned in ensuring that we deliver the PDP and her candidate in the person of Ikeoha”,they assured.

They noted that the All Progressives Congress APC has so far not presented any credible candidate with human face, or that has ever protected the interest of Okigwe youths in the past that will merit their being rewarded with the Senate position.

They said that they don’t belong to the Peoples Democratic Party but want Okigwe zone to move forward and get the best and for them to achieve this, they decided to look towards the party that is at peace with the people and united and that,  they have found in PDP.

While concluding, they advised the second aspirant of the PDP, Hon. Patrick Ndubueze to consider stepping down and join hands with his brother from the same party, Ikeoha Okigwe to focus on the general election.
