– Berates woman commissioner over high handedness.
The members of Ideato South Council of Traditional rulers last Friday 7th August 2020, paid a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodinma on Women Mobilization, Hon Chief (Mrs) Josephine Nnoaham, (Madam Sososo) in her Owerri office in support of her appointment by the State Governor.
Leading the delegation was the Traditional Ruler of Ntueke Ancient Kingdom, HRH Eze Kyrian Chinedu of Ntueke Autonomous Community, who while introducing her wife to other royal fathers described her as a notable community leader and politician of good character who is often associated with the grass roots.
While in their separate speeches, expressed satisfaction with the traditional rulers the appointment of Chief Mrs. Nnoaham (Madam Social) as SA to the Governor on Women Mobilization. They described her position as a square peg in a square hole.
In his own words, the Chairman Ideato South Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Peter Ekesobi Ewuzie (Nchanchagu) of Umuakam Autonomous Community commended the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for the appointment of Chief Mrs Nnoaham, Madam Social as the State Women mobilizer.
Contributing, the Traditional Ruler of Umucheke Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Ekenedirichukwu David Obinali, JP, (Eze Okorowuikemba of Umucheke and Osisi Orji Mmuo Kuru) commended the Governor for making a wonderful choice by selecting Mrs Nnoaham (Madam Social) in his cabinet.
“This is the only appointee we know, very close to the people and not people like Hon. Mrs. Nkechi Ugwu, Commissioner for Gender and Vulnerable Affairs as a never do well woman of negligence to others and high handedness. I don’t think we have any Commissioner in Ideato South. She is not a grassroot politician at all. Her appointment means no commissioner for Ideato South so governor Uzodimma should put people who can stand for him at all time”. Eze Okorowuikemba.
