It has been revealed that the ace movie star, Infinity Ebere Ohakwe, who recently emerged Director of Socials of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly (OYA) is among the Nollywood actresses in Nigeria that make waves in Nigeria and beyond.
Recently, Ohakwe decided that most of her movies will be shot in Imo. By so doing, it provides her opportunity to identify potentials in and around Imo state. To match her word with action, she had in 2019 made her first ever CINEMA/NETFLIX film in Owerri titled “Olaedo” which featured, Pete Edochie, Rechael Okonkwo, Yemi Blaq, Sophia Alakija, Nina BBNaija, Ray Emodi and Maureen Okpoko.
Others were two Kenyan public figures, namely; Mish Dorah and Glamour Pam.
Another movie produced by Infinity Ebere Ohakwe, CEO of Jewel Infinity Productions in Imo is Skolastica (On Dstv and You Tube). This time around, it was shot in her rustic village, Amaofuo, Oru West of Imo State in 2018. She has pledged to produce more movies in Imo even as she assumes office as Director of Socials of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly.
Sequel to the election of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, some prominent actors and actresses of Orlu zone extraction who are desirous of making enroute to Imo State met in Lagos and endorsed her for the position.
As revealed, the agenda is to replicate what they have done in Lagos and Enugu in Imo. The two cities of Enugu, Lagos are today, indisputably the entertainment hubs of Nigeria.
As a golden fish that has no hiding place, inside or outside of water, some of the aspirants to the position of Director of Socials (DOS) who discovered the intimidating profile of Ohakwe dropped their ambitions and pledged to support Ohakwe to uplift the entertainment sector in Orlu zone and Imo State at large.
Ohakwe has since proven that her choice for the position is timely as she has begun the process of organizing the first Orlu zone Festival and “Miss Orlu zone”, all slated to hold this year.
Speaking with our reporter in Owerri, recently,Ohakwe said that she is passionate about making impact on the young ones. She assured that the two programs that Orluzurumee Youth Assembly intends to organize will place Orlu zone on the World map as she intends to involve all her friends across the globe for the programs.
She stated that the Miss Orlu pageantry eventual winner will remain a role model to young girls of Orlu zone, hence, whoever that emerges will be decent and must possess such qualities that will portray the zone in good light.
On the proposed carnival, she simply said, “wait and see. It shall be an assemblage of who is who in the entertainment industry in Nigeria”. She then called on all well to do Orlu sons and daughters to support their programs.
She also appreciated every Orlu son and daughter that has investment in Orlu, saying that it is the only way to end unemployment and avoid the mistakes of the past when our people lost their multi-million investments for not investing wisely.
