Married couples have been advised to make transparency their watchword.
Venerable Sydney Akuwudike gave this advice during the wedding ceremony of the Human Resource Manager of My Radio 101.1FM and Gold 89.3 FM Owerri, Obinna Elegalam and his wife, Barrister Adaku Amadi at the Chapel of the Healing Cross, Bishop’s Court in Atta, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
Venerable Akuwudike asked couples to love themselves, stating that marriage is a gift from God hence they should always express love to each other.
He charged them not to invite any third party into their homes but to amicably resolve any challenges in love.
To the husbands, the priest asked them to love their wives, listen to them, value them and be open to them. Also to the wives, the cleric advised them to cherish their husbands and respect them.
In his contribution, the Anglican Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese, the Right Reverend Emmanuel Maduwike advised couple to ensure they live in harmony and do things with one heart.
He asked them not to allow an intruder into their home as well as make God their strong tower.

The Anglican Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese also appreciated the State and federal governments for the steps they had taken so far to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
In his appreciation, Mr. Obinna Elegalam declared that, he is grateful to God for the day and pledged to abide by the solemn vow he has made. He also asked God to bless his new home.
