Hon Hercules Okoro,Member Representing Ohaji Egbema State Assembly
In a bid to sensitize the people on the best way of preventing the spread and contacting of the current global pandemic called Coronavirus (Covid-19), the Imo State House of Assembly member representing Ohaji-Egbema State Constituency, Hon. Cyriacus Okoro Heclus has distributed Covid-19 preventive items to his constituents and residents alike.
The Lawmaker distributed the materials on Monday 30th March during the flag-off of his campaign against the spread of Coronavirus in the localities of Ohaji-Egbema LGA, held at the palace of Ohaji-Egbema Council of Traditional Rulers Chairman, HRH Eze S.A. Okwuodu of Obuomadike kingdom.
Hon. Cyriacus Okoro Heclus who was represented at the occasion by his Senior Legislative aide, Mr. Charles Ugochukwu, delivered to his people hands washing buckets, detergents and cash for the purchase of hands sanitizers and sustainable grassroots based campaign against Covid-19.
Ugochukwu stated that Hon. Cyriacus Okoro Heclus has the best interests of Ohaji-Egbema people at heart and has come to give his constituents a sense of belonging at this global Coronavirus pandemic not minding the littleness of his gesture but urged them to consider the genuineness as it came from his innermost heart.
He disclosed the commitment of his Principal in championing the cause of Ohaji-Egbema LGA not minding it’s critical nature hence that will yield fruits that will metamorphose into the development of Ohaji-Egbema LGA and urged them to comply with all measures that will restraint Coronavirus from penetrating into the LGA.
In their speeches while receiving the items on behalf of the entire communities of Ohaji-Egbema LGA, HRH Eze S.A. Okwuodu of Obuomadike kingdom and HRH Eze Ekwueme Ekwueme of Ochia Autonomous Community thanked the Honourable member for remembering their people at this time of needs.
They described the Coronavirus preventive materials delivered as a symbolic nature of an exceptional leader who considers the safety of his Constituents as top priority. They assured of consolidating and complementing the efforts of the lawmaker so as to actualize his dream of preventing Coronavirus in the entire Ohaji-Egbema LGA.
