The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) will between the 28th of November to 30th of November, 2019, hold its 38thNational Conference in Imo State. The theme of the conference is Mainstreaming Safety in National Development.
In a release signed by the Chairman of Local Organization Committee (LOC) and Imo State Chairman of ISPON, Dr Martin Dike, made available to Tuesday WATCHDOG, the conference which will be hosted in the South East for the second time, will take place at the Ahiajioku Conference Centre, Owerri.
He stated that the 38th National Conference is an opportunity to re-awaken the national consciousness of safety in the Nation.
“The institute being a creation of the National Assembly and established under the Institute of Safety Professionals Act 2014, will not fail in its role in regulating safety in Nigeria, hence the topic for this annual conference”, he stated.
According to him, both captains of industry, government officials and professionals from all works of life are expected to participate in the conference.
According to the release,members are to register with N35,000, non-members; N45,000, while students register at N5000 each.
