Imo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Emeka Felix Ebiliekwe, whose pragmatic and proactive performance in office has continued to elicit commendations and support from well meaning and progressive Imolites who have assured him of their readiness to support and work with the Governor Emeka Ihedioha led Rebuild Imo government.
The State Governor on his own has received commendations from several quarters; both groups and Individuals, for being visionary and objective in his appointments of the likes of Hon. Ebiliekwe, which have been yielding positive and people orientated results/policies for the benefits of the people. They applauded the special edition of the Orient FM morning participatory program that is packaged by the Commissioner in conjunction with their radio station to enable all the Commissioners speak and respond to questions from the people of the State. Some of the commendations were recorded during the Commissioner’s recent featuring in the participatory radio program on Orient FM, where participants lauded he Commissioner for his proactive and pragmatic strides towards keeping the general public well informed, on the Rebuild Imo programmes/policies, it’s achievements, objectives and plans.
One of the callers thanked and commended the Executive Governor, RT. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, for putting a round peg in a round hole, going by Ebiliekwe’s appointment, as the mouth piece of the state government.
In a similar development, the media in the State which include both print, electronic and their Publishers have in their different fora commended the doggedness and proactive leadership style of the Commissioner. They submitted that the governor made a perfect choice on Ebiliekwe to champion and galvanize the Rebuild Imo program from the Information sector.
They maintained that the Commissioner has proven that he has the magic wands to build a lasting synergy between the State government, the media and other stakeholders in Information sector. Also the information officers and orientation officers across the 27 LGAs of the state have thrown their weight behind the Commissioner, who they said has shown commitment, understanding and sincerity of purpose, therefore they pledged their total support and commitment to the Ihedioha Rebuild Imo government.
