An art aficionado, Kenny Anasoh has commended Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo state for his sense excellence and ability source only the best for the task of rebuilding Imo.
Anasoh made reference to the Art Exhibition that was part of events that marked the inauguration of Ihedioha, describing it as a phenomenonal event heralding the transition of power in Imo.
He said: “The enigmatic incoming Governor of Imo state, Rt.Hon Emeka Ihedioha has shown his capacity in setting records quite early and his dexterity in making the right choices early.
“His choice of the most sought after Art curator and Creative Arts economist in Nigeria today, Chief Kingsley Okafor has cheered Imo people and given an indication of what the Ihedioha administration holds in stock for the new Imo State.”
He continued: “Chief Kingsley Okafor who doubles as the National President and Chairman BoT, Association Of Professional Creative Artists in Nigeria (APCAD) curated the Imo State Governorship Inauguration Art exhibition.
“The 3-day Art exhibition was in honor of the brand new Governor of Imo State, Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy, Hon. Gerald Irona.The Exhibition was a landmark event as it is the first time an exhibition is showcased as a major part of the state inauguration program.”
Kenny Anasoh who was among the guest at the event observed that over 50 artists exhibited over 250 works ranging from paintings, sculptures (bronze and metals), textiles designs and ornamentals.
“The event which attracted the cream of Imo society and beyond, recorded a massive turn out of guests at the opening which included past Governors of Imo state, captains of industries and Art connoisseurs from within and outside Imo state.
