The Chairman/CEO of Choice International Services Nigeria Ltd, owner of Choice Weavon, Amakohia is presently enmeshed in a financial scandal running into millions of Naira.
One of the aluminium companies in Owerri(namewithheld), is presently demanding the final payment of the sum of Thirteen Million and Six Hundred and Eighty Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred and Six Naira (#13,888,706), being cost of supply of building materials and accessories to the company over a year ago.
Addressing Newsmen in Owerri,yesterday,the head of communication of the company,Mr Chibuzor Okoro stated that the amount, #13,888,706 is the last tranche of the total cost of the supplies for the building of the New Owerri Court complex. Also mentioned are Rochas Foundation,Hive, Orji, two of which are personal properties of the outgoing Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
Mr Chibuzor stated that,though, the total material supplied were completed before April 2018, Mr Kingsley Onyegbule, has since reneged in his promise to pay the balance of #13,888,706.
Meanwhile,a source who doesn’t want his name in print accused Mr Onyegbule of being a proxy used by Okorocha to develop fictitious properties in real estate business.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Choice International Services Nig. Ltd, Orlu road, Owerri, Kingsley Onyegbule is said to have gone into hiding avoiding contacts with the creditors, thus giving the impression that this “prominent Rochas Okorocha’s contractor and proxy”, is involved in obtaining through false pretences, OBT and 419.
As self-effacing business man, Kingsley Onyegbule is presently managing Concord Hotels,Owerri for Rochas Okorocha, having renovated the Concord bush bar and replacing a few furniture in the main lounge and reception halls and the Olympic sized swimming pool.
