The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Media Action yesterday donated some sophisticated and state of the art electronics media gadgets to Darling FM, 107.3, Owerri, Imo state as a proof of it’s rating as the best private owned radio station in Imo state.
Speaking at the occasion, which took place at Darling FM radio stations office complex, along Wetheral road, Owerri the state capital, the BBC Media Action delegates said that the corporation received these solemn gifts as a result of their hardwork in terms of their contents, programmes and production. “They have proved to be the best and ranking first of all the privately owned radio stations in Imo state”.
Reacting to this, the proprietor of darling Fm, Senator Eze Ajoku, who received the gifts on behalf of the corporation, appreciated the BBC Media Action on their huge donations to them.
He commended them, stating that, it is a motivation that such a world renowned organization recognizes the contributions they are making to broadcasting in Imo state and beyond. He added that, it motivates them to do even better, because reward for hardwork is more work”.
