In a bid to achieve victory by electing Senator Hope Uzodinma, as Imo State governor in 2019, a political pressure group, “Door 2 Door with Hope”, has inaugurated the Njaba local government area chapter, and commissioned same with the donation of a new brand new Sony Megaphone for outdoor Public Address System.
Addressing the 11 electoral ward executives and booth leaders of the group, in his Umuduruewuru, Amucha community in Njaba LGA, on Tuesday January 1, 2019, the National coordinator, Door 2 Door with Hope, Chief Anayo Nwadike (Igbo 1 of Igbo land), stated that, the Association has remained indelible and indispensable as one of the most formidable Senator Hope Uzodinma’s governorship election campaign strategies in 2019, that are meant to sensitize all the rural masses through an effective Door 2 Door, House 2 House, Market to Market and Church to Church, campaign project.
Chief Nwadike said that, his utmost intention informing the group, is to propagate the candidacy of Senator Uzodinma, as the next governor of the state. He maintained that Senator Hope Uzodinma’s governorship aspiration was divinely made to emancipate Imo people from the current bad governance.
In his speech during the oath of allegiance, former Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources, during the military era, Chief (Barr) Uche Nwaugo, admonished the members of “Door 2 Door with Hope” on the need to put into use the megaphone to ensure that the message of Hope for governor, gets to the grassroots. Barr Nwaugo further thanked the National Co-ordinator for such a laudable gesture in Njaba council, and promised to support them.
Speaking also, an APC Chieftain and former Njaba House of Assembly aspirant, Hon Emenike Uzor, said, Door 2 Door with Hope, has conquered Njaba council as the people will not elect any other person except Senator Hope Uzodinma, as the next Imo state governor.
In his contribution, a notable community leader and philanthropist, Hon. Hope Ekezie, thanked Igbo 1 of Igbo land, Chief Nwadike, who he said thought it wise to throw his support behind the Orlu born Senator in his aspiration, as governor and promised to support the group in all of it’s campaign strategies. Some of the newly inaugurated members, who spoke in line with the vision include, Mazi Ekene Chinaka from Amucha ward 1, Mr Festus Aririguzo from Nkume ward and Madam Agatha Ejikeme, Atta ward 2. They promised to deliver their various wards and booths to Hope Uzodinma.
The highlight of the occasion was the official sharing of Door 2 Door with Hope, working materials including the Megaphone to various ward executive leaders.
