Royal fathers from Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal constituency on Tuesday 23rdOctober 2018, gathered at the palace of Igwe Douglas Acholonu of Orlu to bless and wish the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for the Federal constituency in the 2019 general election, Chief Edwin Ihenacho (Okuenyeremba) well in his ambition.
The royal fathers stated that though they are not involved in partisan politics, it is their responsibility to bless and pray for their sons and daughters who have the interest of the people at heart.
They expressed satisfaction with what the American trained security expert has done for the federal constituency and wished him well in his political ambition.
Some of those present at the event include, chairmen of traditional rulers in the three LGAs that make up the Federal constituently, namely Eze Agbahiwe Duruigbo for Orlu, Eze Mike Ebi for Orsu and Eze Barr Amukamara for Oru East.
Chief Ihenacho, in his speech, thanked the royal fathers for their gesture and promised not to relent in his passionate desire and commitment to enhance the welfare of the people, the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the entire Federal constituency, if elected.
Meanwhile, Chief Ihenacho’s name has been published by INEC as the duly elected APC candidate for Orlu, Orsu, Oru East Federal constituency for the 2019 election.
