The chairman of Imo state stake holders forum chief Okey Ikoro, has congratulated Imo APC for a free and fair Congress.
Speaking to Newsmen in Owerri,yesterday,the great industrialist stated that what happened in Imo was an expression of the earlier vote of no confidence passed on Owelle Rochas Okorocha by the APC stakeholders forum for his anti people’s policy and flagrant abuse of power, total disregard to party manifesto and constitution.
“The leaders, stakeholders and the generality of the APC supporters came out in Mass to say enough is enough. We are taking back our party and returning it to the people.
He called on the presidency not to interfere with the workings of the party as doing that will polarize the leadership of the party in the state since is a well known fact that governor Okorocha has inflicted so much hardship on the people and has lost their support.
He rather called on the president to query Okorocha if it’s possible for one man and his family to become a political party, since all party executives from ward to local government and state have said that the Congress was free and fair, his singular opinion cannot change what is real.
Continuing, he said,”it is obvious that the theory of Ohashierism and Ofushierism which was propounded by him is still very effective. It is only when a tse-tse fly has patched on your scrotal sac that you realize that you cannot solve all problems with violence. Adieu Owelle ndi Igbo, it is yet morning”.
