The attention of the All Progressives Congress Imo state chapter has been drawn to rumours making the round that the proposed congress of the state slated to hold on Saturday 5th May, 2018 has been called off due to security challenges.
We hereby state that the congress will hold as scheduled, and adequate security arrangement has been made to ensure a hitch free congress.
The ward congresses will hold simultaneously across the centres in Imo state as earlier stated in the release issued by the National Organising Secretary.
Party members are hereby advised to ignore and disregard such baseless and unfounded rumour and participate actively , as it is targeted at raising false alarm to derail the congress in Imo.
Finally,we urge Imo people to continue to support the APC and the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
