The member representing Ahiazu Mbaise in the Imo state House of Assembly, Hon. Ichie Ken Agbim has denied the involvement of Imo State House of Assembly in the endorsement of the Chief of Staff Mr. Uche Nwosu as the next governor of Imo state.
Hon Ken Agbim disclosed this to newsmen in Owerri during the official album launch of a hip hop artiste, Achara man on Sunday, 29 April 2018. He insisted that the House has no right to endorse or impose anybody on Imolites but rather what is happening is “show man show of the APC members in the house who are looking for cheap favour from the Chief of Staff”.
Hon Agbim said the PDP caucus is not involved and are more interested in their legislative and oversight functions. According to him, he toured the whole wards at Okirika Nweke with on town hall meeting where he was able to explained to his constituents about the journey so far, why he failed to do what he is supposed to do and the need for his relation to enable him to continue in his services to the good people of Ahiara Mbaise state constituency.
He maintained that Mbaise people have remained predominantly PDP, and that APC will not get any viable position from Mbaise nation. He encouraged the young hip hop artist Achara man for carving an inche for himself and for the youth.
