– Says Imo electorate will vote individuals and not party in 2019
A fore most community leader and renowned philanthropist, Chief Cosmas Maduba (Ode Ebube Isu) has reacted positively to the yearning of the Nkwerre people of Isu in Nwangele Isu, Njaba and Nkwerre the federal constituency, for him to succeed the present federal House of Representatives member, Hon. Jones Onyeriri in 2019.
Addressing newsmen recently, Chief Cosmas Maduba said that he has harkened to the voice of his people and well prepared to take the mantle of Isu federal legislative post from the current member, Hon. Onyeriri to ensure that there would be an evenly shared dividend of democracy amongst the four local government areas of the federal constituency for the clarity of purpose, equity and fairness.
On the issue of party platform, Chief Maduba said in 2019, the electorate would vote across party lines. According to him, “Imo electorate will vote individuals, not political party”. Also on his decision to run from the Federal House of Representatives instead of Orlu Senate, Chief Maduba, the Ode Ebube Isu, said, “the strength of democracy is the federal house and all the necessary laws are framed, enacted and passed as a bill”.
He maintained that with his wealth of experience, that the voice of the people would henceforth be heard. He called on all his teeming supporters and friends to remain resolute in the project to salvage the good people of Isu, Nkwerre, Njaba and Nwangele in 2019, boasting that it is a mission accomplished.
