– As AOU refurbishes police truck

The Imo state Deputy Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) and the former honourable member that represented Nkwerre LGA in the Imo House of Assembly, Hon. Ugochukwu Nzekwe presented a Unimog truck, an anti riot personnel carrier to the police on Wednesday 1st of November, 2017 at the Imo State Police Command Headquarters.
Hon. Ugochukwu Nzwkwe who is also the Chairman, Board of Directors of Annuld Obidike and Ugochukwu (AOU) Technical Services Ltd, a German Automobile Servicing Company that sells and repairs vehicles, trucks, engines etc explained how he saw the truck at the police command along Onitsha road, abandoned and decided to refurbish it and put all the necessary accessories including the engine which was not in the truck.
According to him, he did it as part of his social cooperate responsibility. He said that for businesses to thrive and for human beings to survive, there should be security. “In appreciation of the good works of the Police in securing lives and property, I decided to encourage them in my own way, he said”.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike expressed his gratitude to Hon. Ugochukwu Nzekwe for his contribution and appreciation of the police force. He said he is very delighted to have such a vehicle intact for operational use, adding that the first assignment of the truck will be to lift personnel to Anambra election, and also hinted on the importance of such truck in community policing.
Mr. Chris Ezike thanked Hon. Ugochukwu Nzekwe for being a good friend to the police and for his numerous unsolicited gestures.
