The member representing Oguta State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly, Hon. Henry Ezediaro, who is also chairman, House committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), last week, made time to inspect the several ongoing projects he attracted to his constituency.
Aside opening new link roads in the area, he has zealously resurfaced most major roads in Oguta main town and the suburbs.
Some of the roads resurfaced by the vibrant legislator, include Osemotor – Egbuoma road, Oguta – Amaeshi road, Eze Orsu – Oguta motel road, Egbuoma – Obana – Oguta road and so many others, in addition to his many other projects, aimed at enhancing the welfare of his constituents.
Speaking to journalists, while inspecting the projects, the honourable member availed that though as a law maker, charged with the responsibility of giving our people quality and effective representation, proposing bills and motions that are in the interest of Imo people, “we should obviously not be expected to execute capital projects that are the responsibilities of the executive arm, who from all indications is doing it’s best in that direction.
He posited that aside his constitutional responsibility of law making, his passion and commitment to ensure that his people enjoy dividends of democracy, he is also doing his best, as House committee Chairman on the NDDC, to ensure that the commission performs optimally, and impacts positively on Imolites, especially the oil producing areas, in line with it’s vision and mission.
The law maker pledged to continue doing his best for his people without relenting because, “leadership at all levels is a call to service”.
